Bihpuria College has formed a committee against sexual harassment in accordance with UGC recommendations. The Committee holds awareness programmes for staff and students on a regular basis. Its goal is to establish a system in the college for preventing and resolving cases of sexual harassment and other forms of gender-based violence. The committee also has the following objectives:
•To put the UGC recommendations into effect by properly reporting concerns and following up on them.
• To create a campus atmosphere that is free of gender-based prejudice.
•To ensure equal access to all college facilities and participation in college activities.
•To create a social and psychological environment in which the college's teachers and students are more aware of sexual harassment.
